Abstract: The N-point supply opening model for description of in let boundary conditions and a new zero-equation turbulence model are presented for numerical simulation of displacement ventilation quickly and rightly. Then the velocity and temperature distribution in a displacement ventilating office are numerically simulated by the models. Comparison of the numerical results and the measured data showed that the indoor air distribution may be rightly simulated by the models . Therefore, the supply opening and turbulence model can be adopted to predict indoor airflow pattern and air distribution for displacement ventilation design.
